Our Purpose
“To pursue a loving relationship with God and one another by continual surrender to Jesus Christ.”
This includes:
- Worship the Almighty God
- Salvation of Souls through Missions and Evangelism
- Growth and Development of Christian Character
- Fellowship through support and prayer for each other
Statement of Faith
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The Church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
Church Covenant
Having been born by the Spirit of God, having received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, having been baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now solemnly and joyfully covenant with each other as one body in Christ to:
Worship
As a worshiping church, we are committed together to:
- Meet regularly to worship God and to praise Him for the wonder of His grace.
- Express our total devotion and love to God, with integrity and joy, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Fellowship
Conscious of God’s grace to us in Jesus Christ, we’re committed together to:
- Unite in Christ, to live in Christian love, humility, and forgiveness in our families, congregation and relations with all people.
- Encourage one another to grow in the knowledge of God and His grace.
- Bear each others’ burdens in mutual love and self-sacrificing care.
Nurture
As a living fellowship, in loving obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, we are committed together to:
- Acknowledge the Scriptures are the Word of God, without error, as the only standard by which we think and live.
- Engage regularly in personal, family, and corporate study of the Word of God.
- Bring up our children in the training and instruction of the Lord, desiring their salvation and spiritual growth.
- Meet regularly together in fellowship, prayer, loving care and mutual commitment as we use our gifts to build up one another in Christ.
- Nurture and protect the fruit of the Spirit in all our members from the youngest to the oldest.
Service
As a family nurtured by God’s grace, we are committed together to:
- Seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness.
- Meet the practical needs of our congregation and care for other Christians throughout the world.
- Reach out to our communities and society in practical ways with the compassion and love of Christ.
- Conduct ourselves justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly before God.
Mission
As a servant community of Jesus Christ, we are committed together to:
- Live with integrity and equip ourselves to speak faithfully as witnesses for Christ.
- Encourage and support members of the Church called to serve our Lord Jesus Christ at home and abroad.
- Contribute faithfully to support the Church and in spreading the Gospel locally, nationally, and internationally to make disciples of all nations.
