May 21, 2008 – 1:47 amI have to say that although I knew our congregation was a giving and mission minded people, I had no idea how true this was. I rec'd a letter today from Jerry Rankin, the president of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, and in this letter he stated that this past year's Lottie Moon Christmas offering was going to be the largest in history. This news alone was exciting, but what I was not expecting was this next statement:    "It (the Lottie Moon Offering) is projected to surpass the 2006 record of $150,178,098.06. This was the result of extraordinary giving by your church. The members of your congregation led the entire East Bay Baptist Association in both total dollars and per capita dollars given to the annual mission offering." Hebrews 8
March 11, 2008 – 4:55 pmWe are finally finished with the "Healthy Church" series and are now continuing in Chapter 8 of Hebrews. My goal is to finalize the chapter in two weeks, so read chapters 1 through 8 for this week to be prepared. Continue to pray for all that God is doing in us and that we will be sensitive to His leading as we embark on a new beginning! Apologetic & Evangelism Training

February 26, 2008 – 4:19 amTim desires us to continue to pray for him and God's work to the Afghan community. I spent several hours with him today, meeting some people and seeing their real needs. Thank you church for your support and prayers for reaching all people in our community.

New Members Class
January 30, 2008 – 3:46 amOur new member class is being held February 1 and 2nd. Friday evening from 7 to 9 and Saturday morning from 9 to 12. If you are going to attend, we need to know ASAP, so please call the church office. This class if required for all who wish to petition for membership.
