Deacons

The Council of Deacons are the biblical office of “servant” or “diakonos” (Douala) found in the New Testament.  The Deacon council is comprised of individuals who give direction to the ministerial needs of the congregation specifically in matters of benevolence, follow up, physical needs and the training and enlisting of the congregation to adhere to a model of ministering to each other’s needs.  Many people will work in the “deacon ministry” but not everyone will be a deacon.

If a church member has a need, no matter how big or small, the deacon council is the first point of contact.
