James considers his major role in life is to be a coach. If you were to ask those who are close to him, they would agree that he is always looking to help those around him become stronger in their faith, lives, and Lord! Mentoring people in life and faith is his main passion. Through grace, James pushes all in his presence to “see” and “treasure” Christ above all things in life.
His experience as an Executive Pastor, Children’s, Youth and Worship pastors have allowed James to see the work of the “church” from almost every angle and in time, God used most of these experiences to ensure James that the true church needs reform back to the Gospel.
His wife Robyn has many years of experience with James to answer the calling of God in their lives. Her experience includes the direction of preschool and children’s ministries, teaching and mentoring others in the faith, youth ministry and serving on many creative teams and leadership teams. Robyn’s passion is technology, history and her family! FYI, both Robyn and James love to game and learn Kung Fu!
Before God’s call to the ministry, his wife and he operated a Marketing and Business Development firm in Savannah, GA. He holds a BBA in Marketing and a Master of Theology Degree and is working toward a second Master’s Degree and currently a Ph.D. student at Trinity Seminary.
Pastor James currently serves in many capacities across the East Bay in multi-denominational networks and on the Executive Board for the East Bay Baptist Association. His hope for is to see the body of Christ grow and work together for Christ’s Glory and not the glory of individual congregations. James and Robyn both are published authors on many subjects and speak nationally to groups, churches and businesses.
